He received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Florida State University, then served as a police officer for four years before entering the Florida State University College of Law. In law school, Mr. Collard was a member of the Florida State University Law Review, a teaching assistant in the trial practice program, an intern in the Office of the Governor of Florida, and a certified legal intern, which allowed him to represent the State in criminal prosecutions during his third year. Mr. Collard also studied law at Oxford University during his first summer of law school.
After receiving his J.D., with honors, Mr. Collard practiced in the commercial real estate group of the Atlanta office of Holland & Knight, LLP, before joining Warner, Mayoue, Bates & Nolen, P.C. in Atlanta, where he exclusively practiced in the area of complex domestic relations cases involving prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, divorce, child custody and support, alimony, legitimation, paternity and post-judgment issues. Mr. Collard joined Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany, P.C. in 2007, where he continues to practice exclusively in the area of domestic relations.
